On December 25, 2009, "The Three Wise Men" on camel back visited Oasis Hospital, bearing gifts and candy for children and patients. They gathered outside Oasis Hospital, and were welcomed by members of staff and their families as well as members of the community. The Oasis Hospital Children's Choir, otherwise known as The Shepherd's Flock, sang Christmas Carols & Hymns to kick off the celebration.
Passages from the Bible were read, including the story of the visit of the Three Wise Men to the newborn baby Jesus. Isaac Olatunde, Chaplain of Oasis Hospital, prayed.
After this gathering the Wise Men and staff visited patients in the hospital bringing small gifts and words of encouragement.
This is the third year that the Three Wise Men have visited Oasis Hospital, and it is becoming an increasingly popular way to begin the Christmas Day Celebrations. The event was once again well received!
