Plans confirmed for new hospital

A new and impressive facility is currently being planned for Oasis Hospital. This is thanks to the extreme generosity of the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The substantial grant offered by the ruling family will allow us to expand our facilities and services with well equipped in-patient and out-patient departments. The new building, to be located just beside the present hospital should break ground in late 2009. The building will provide new and existing patients with updated medical equipment and technology, additional inpatient rooms and suites, and approximately four times the amount of space as the current hospital provides.

The new hospital will allow us to expand our services to include additional areas of specialty services. We will also plan on increasing our core capabilities by adding approximately 350 staff members over the next two years as the project is completed.
