The Orthopedics Department at Oasis Hospital is helping individuals prevent and treat problems with their bones and muscles so as to enhance their quality of life. Orthopedic surgeons treat patients with problems in their arms, legs, neck or back.
These could result from:
• Birth defects
• sports-related injuries
• accidents (e.g.: fracture, dislocation)
• arthritis
• osteoporosis
Orthopedic Surgeons also treat complex conditions such as:
• reconstruction of damaged limbs
• correction of deformities from burns (burn contractures)
• treatment of deformed or distorted feet (clubfeet)
Our Approach
Sometimes, a simple 15-minute operation is all it takes to remove months of excruciating pain. Many of our operations are same-day procedures, where patients can return home on the day of surgery.
As part of our full service approach, we also offer physiotherapy and occupational therapy treatments to facilitate post-surgery recovery.
Our Services
• Limb Repair & Reconstruction
• Joint Replacement (Read a patient story)
• Pain Management
• Fracture & Dislocation Treatment
• Treatment of Sports Injuries

We have the facilities to perform keyhole surgeries which require only a small incision and are minimally invasive. We also have the expertise to undertake major surgeries as required.
