Home All Services Urgent Care Clinic

The Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) at Oasis Hospital is for non-emergency medical treatment for all ages and all members of the family. The UCC is located just outside of the main entrance of Oasis Hospital and is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week.

 

The UCC is a walk-in clinic, usually offering same day appointments for patients who have acute illnesses, such as a cold or flu, minor injuries, cuts or bruises. The UCC also performs some minor non-invasive surgeries which can be done within the same day such as circumcisions, laceration repairs, skin biopsies, etc.

 

After arriving at the UCC a patient can expect to go through the following:

 

• Sign in with registration and schedule an appointment, or take a number for the next available appointment;

• Wait for the attendant to call your name and direct you to a nurse;

• The nurse will take your vital signs and discuss any symptoms you are experiencing;
• After meeting with a nurse, you will have a consultation with a doctor. Your consultation may result in blood tests, x-rays, or a prescription;
• After your appointments and laboratory tests (if applicable) you will need to visit the cashier to pay for the visit. You can also pick up any medications that were prescribed at our pharmacy.
