Ophthalmology is a medical specialty that looks into all aspects of the eye - including its structure, function and diseases. The Eye Clinic is another new service at Oasis Hospital, which began in January 2010 under US board certified Dr. Timothy Fincher.

Ophthalmologists are medical doctors and surgeons who specialize in eye and vision care. They treat the eye as it relates to the whole body. Their goal is to protect the eye and prevent loss of sight.
