Oasis Hospital has been serving the residents of the Eastern Region and beyond since 1960 at the invitation of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Our shared beliefs and values carry this tradition forward for generations to come.

Thanks to the generosity of the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a new and impressive facility is ready to be built on the Oasis Hospital site.

The important grant was approved by the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and will allow us to expand our facilities and services to meet the needs of Al Ain's growing population. The new hospital building, to be located just beside the present hospital, is scheduled to break ground in September 2009. The building will provide new and existing patients with the best medical equipment and technology, and has been designed with respect for the cultures and traditions of the UAE.

The new hospital will allow us to include additional areas of specialty services. We will also increase our core ability to meet the medical needs of the region by adding approximately 350 staff members over the next two years as the project is completed.
